Palong Wall is located on the west side of Phi Phi Leh the sister island to Phi Phi Don. This island is not lived on besides a few birds nest collectors and rangers which monitor the beach as its a well known tourist destination for its sheer beauty and the fact it was one of the locations where the film The Beach was filmed starring Leonardo Di Caprio.

"This island is not lived on besides a few birds nest collectors and rangers which monitor the beach as its a well known tourist destination for its sheer beauty and the fact it was one of the locations where the film The Beach was filmed starring Leonardo Di Caprio."
We start in the middle of the long sheer island face and go North or South usually depending on the current. Heading North takes you along a shallow plateau of whip corals where in the shallows black tips can been seen in fairly large groups, this plateau has drop offs down to around 20m on the sand. Going South has more large boulders with swim through’s dropping down to around 20m from the surface, not as much coral life on certain parts of this boulder site but usually a lot of turtles to be found around this area and larger predators like Giant Trevally, Barracuda, large groupers. You can follow the site into Maya Bay.
